One of the biggest club nights in Birmingham – BELOW at the Rainbow venues – will be celebrating its 8th birthday with a weekend of parties and wicked music on Saturday the 4th-5th May. And Scene Birmingham has teamed up with the guys from the venue to offer two pairs of weekend tickets for two worth £200.
The event will feature a huge weekend of line ups taking over all of The Rainbow Venues including The Arena for a 4000 capacity show on Saturday and The Rainbow Courtyard and Warehouse on the Sunday.
Having risen from the ranks of illegal warehouse party to one of the premier nights in Birmingham’s social calendar, promoters dam Shelton & Lee McDonald have booked some of the biggest acts to ensure the milestone is celebrated in style.
The party starts on May 4th at The Rainbow Warehouse, Arena and in the Rainbow Courtyard and will feature a very special live PA from Inner City, plus sets from house gangster DJ Sneak, techno innovator Derrick May, New York house star Todd Terry, plus Kevin Saunderson, Mr C and of course Adam Shelton.
Sunday will herald a return to basics championing everything that BELOW is about. Following from Saturday night there will be a very special afterparty running from midnight in the Rainbow Warehouse with Adam Shelton and Alex Arnount b2b, Frenchy and Tristan da Cunha b2b and, for the real hardcore out there, the party will carry on through the wee hours and into Sunday, with more awesome performances in the hallowed Rainbow Courtyard. This time headlining will be hot properties Paranoid London, Le Loup, Jef K, H Foundation, Bloody Mary and Tom Craven will all play.
